MCC Diary Dates PDF Print E-mail

Apart from the usual high standard of league and friendly cricket there are some additional events coming up over the next month or so:

Friday 31st JulyMCC v Ranjane Cricket Academy (from Pune, India). 2pm start.
Saturday 1st August Curry Night at the club. 8pm onwards. Supporters and players welcome.
Tuesday 18th AugustMCC v Reigate Priory (tour match against a top Surrey side).
Monday 31st AugustFamily Fun Day (with British Legion). 2pm onwards, including Arran Pilot band.
 
ALSO:
Friday 6th November – End of Season Dinner at Broadleys.
Saturday 7th November – Fireworks evening.

Plenty of events and dates for you and your friends to support.

Due to heavy rain the 6-a-side Tournament has been postponed until the 23rd August.

A big well done goes to the U17s who inflicted a shock defeat on Lansdown last night. The boys played superbly to end up winning by 84 runs in a 20 over match against a top team in the league!

Don't forget it is the MCC Annual 6-A-Side Tournament at Broadleys Sunday 19th July.

A fun day out for the whole family!

This Saturday the 1st XI lost to Stroud away after rain interrupted play. The 2nd XI game at Broadleys was rained off.

The 3rd XI are on an unstoppable winning streak with 5 in a row! This week saw a good win away against Swindon United Churches. Marshfield won the toss and batted first and all out for 189. The second innings MCC bowled out SUCCC for 72.

Great bowling from Mark "Dicko" Dixon: 3 for 27 off 11 overs and also from Andy "Pearcy" Pearce: 3 for 12 off 4 overs.

The Lords dream is over for another year. The VK game at Cresselly ended with a defeat for Marshfield. A massive thanks goes to all the supporters who came to watch the games, both home & away. Some pictures from the day will be online soon.
