Tormarton - a home from home

On a chilly and damp summer morning 9 x U13’s girls put together a polished clinical performance to dispatch Brislington back down toghill from whence they came - in what turned out to be. 97(net) run win against a Very friendly and likeable Brislington squad.

Bowling, and fielding in particular were very good with Alice Edwards hitting the stumps -(side-on) for a great run out, Ruby Hand bowled brilliantly 2-8 off 2 overs. Alice W and Molly B were fast, full and straight. As were the rest ( but not as fast) . The whole bowling unit not being hit for a single boundary.  With Maddy White showing again she’s more than capable of playing U13’s despite only being Y5.

The batting was good, we only lost 3 wickets, all to good balls. And scored 153 in 20 overs.  With everyone single batter showing good technique.

Alice Wilson again shone with the bat, having 2 chances to bat due to odd numbers and took full advantage accumulating 53 not out.

So still unbeaten in the league for the girls - bring in the mighty Frenchay on Sunday.
