Final Day Celebrations
As has become customary on the last day of the season a Fish and Chip run has been arranged. If you are going to partake please let the Captain or nominated person from your team know by Friday - when we really need to pre-order with the Fat Friar.
It could be a night to remember with the 1st XI in with a shout of the title and 2nd likely to confirm promotion.
Availabilities
We have one final game to finish the season at Broadleys on Saturday 8th September: 3rds v Guy Lowin’s Dad’s. Please let Chalky know if you are available to play.
Annual Dinner
The clubs annual dinner, disco and award evening is earlier than usual this season on Friday 21st September. Details can be found here. Please inform Chalky if you are coming ASAP.
MCC Fantasy League
Manager of the week was Colin Sinkins accumulating a massive 820 points and an outside chance of the title! Sam Jukes was the player to have picked racking up 167 points thanks to his first century for the club. Very tight at the top going into the last week between Hodor and Els.
Don't forget transfers can be done up to mid-day on Saturday, you have one free one and any others will cost you 10 points. We have 35 entrants. Thanks for entering, however, please the following pay Piercey before Sunday 15th July to be considered for any future cash prizes your £10 entry fee. Once you have paid if you can please let Mark Dixon also know that you have paid.
