About Marshfield Cricket Club
Based in the south Cotswolds just north of Bath, Marshfield Cricket Club is a friendly and welcoming village cricket club with a very picturesque ground.
Originally founded in 1901 by the local vicar, the club had a nomadic existence, playing on a number of different sites in the village until settling at the village playing field, Withymead, after the Second World War. In 1968 the club purchased a field on the edge of the village, where the present Broadleys ground was established, with the first game taking place in 1970.
