Dave Jenkins Bath Half Marathon 2020

I'm extremely excited to be supporting Wiltshire Air Ambulance for the 2nd year running. Last year I was blown away by the support the charity offered to all runners. From training programmes to race day tips, not to mention the marquee on the day of the event (massages the lot).

Last year I participated in the race with little focus on the time. This year I am looking to break 1hr 30mins, but with a few niggles 1hr 35mins is a more realistic target. To help achieve this, I have joined Clifton Running club, and with their support, I am giving myself the best chance of achieving this goal.

Most importantly, however, I am raising money for a charity which helps to save lives on a daily basis. You will never know when you may need the support of WAA, and without kind donations, the operation would not be able to run. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Please see a little more information on the charity below:

Wiltshire Air Ambulance turns 30 on 15th March, which is the same date that Bath Half Marathon falls on. We want to celebrate in style, so join us as we mark the occasion by tackling the 13.1 mile flat, fast-paced course around the picturesque city of Bath! In 2019, our incredible fundraisers raised an epic £27,000, this has enabled us to keep flying in Wiltshire and surround counties. This is a very popular event and one that kicks off our events calendar for the year and one that our fundraisers keep coming too!#TeamWAA are some of the most inspirational people, you'll ever meet. So whatever your reason for running, run to help Wiltshire Air Ambulance continue to keep flying and saving lives.
