Another great victory for the U11s against the Corsham Falcons. Batting first we were under immediate pressure from some quality bowling and it looked like it was going to be a tough evening. Steadily the boys showed great patience and notched up the runs, with a vital burst from Tobias Collis in the middle of the order.
The boys then took to the field and showed again why they will be hard to beat. A combination of some great bowling and tight fielding notched up some early wickets that was always going to have Corsham chasing the total. Wickets from Liam Davidson, Tobias and George Groves all helped, with a direct hit (from distance) run-out from George Groves in his first match a key moment.
Down to seven men in the field Marshfield manage to hold on and win by 10 runs in the end. Well done boys.
