Next Years Youth Secretary Appointed!

Hannah Palmer

Marshfield Cricket Club is delighted that Hannah Palmer has agreed to take on the role of Youth Secretary at the club. Hannah is a Marshfield Maidens player, the Girls U7 lead coach, and the recent recipient of a first class honours degree in Sports Leadership and Development.  Hannah has also recently made her 3rdXI debut. She is uniquely well placed to take our youth section to the next level, building on the foundations laid by her predecessors.

The appointment reflects the explosion in women’s sport, particularly cricket, in the past few years and we know she will be a fantastic role model to the eighty or so girls that regularly turn out, as well as to the hundred or so boys!

Hannah will set out her aspirations for the section when she takes over formally in the Autumn.

Good luck Hannah!

We are sure anyone who has had any contact with him will agree that his organisational and coaching skills have been second to none and is leaving a vibrant and successful youth section for Hannah to take over, Thanks Robin!... but don't relax just yet there is still half the season to go!
