Marshfield U-11’s welcomed Bath Arrows to Broadleys on a beautiful summers evening. Having lost the toss and been asked to bowl first, things started well for Marshfield with Ben Sinkins claiming an early wicket. Unfortunately, this was to be the only success of the innings as a depleted Marshfield team struggled against some impressive batting.

Bath Arrows amassed a total of 150 for the loss of just one wicket from their 20 overs with the highlight of the innings being a superb unbeaten century from Oliver De Glanvile.

Despite the batting onslaught, Marshfield stuck to their task well and maintained a good standard of bowling and fielding throughout the innings.

In reply, Josh Macauley ripped through the Marshfield top order to take 4 wickets for just 6 runs and wickets continued to fall at regular intervals in the face of accurate bowling supported by good catching. Sam Bellord provided some late resistance but the Marshfield innings crumbled to a disappointing 27 all out and a heavy defeat.
