Good Performance from U11 Girls at a Wet Frampton!

FoS U11 girls fest 3

It would seem that Friday night training at 'not-so-balmy' Broadleys has not only improved the skills and teamwork of our cricketers, it's also created the hardiest of supporters. While supporters from other clubs dashed for the clubhouse at the merest hint of rain, ours seemed hardly to notice and simply re-angled their brollies to fend off the worst of the downpour as they waited for play to resume.  Roll on the Summer at Broadleys and elsewhere.

On the field, our team did very well against some big and strong teams, securing one win and two non-wins!  It's not without coincidence that our win came when the on-field chat was at its best - keep communicating girls and the wins will come!

Well done to Esme Williams who, in just her second ever festival, and third over of competitive cricket, took two wickets and was awarded by her peers with the Marshfield Player of the Tournament.
